President of Latvia Egils Levits and First Lady Andra Levite visited the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia on 29 November 2019. Valters Nollendorfs, Chairman of the Board of the Museum, gave President and the First Lady a tour of Museum’s temporary exhibition. They also met with museum staff and members of the Latvian Occupation Museum Society. In appreciation of the role of the Museum and the Society in preserving Latvia’s historical memory, President Levits agreed to become the Patron of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia.
